Frequently Asked Questions
What therapeutic model do you use?
I believe that every person is the expert of their own life. My role as a counselor is to be alongside you with curiosity and compassion—to understand what brings you to therapy and help you explore the patterns and experiences that are shaping your current path.
Together, we’ll identify what’s working and where there may be space to grow. I listen closely to the coping strategies you’ve already developed and collaborate with you to explore new skills and perspectives that support your healing and growth.
My therapeutic foundation is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, and I also integrate elements from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to tailor support to each client’s needs.
When working with couples, I use the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy—a research-based approach that offers practical tools for deepening connection, improving communication, and building lasting trust. I’ve completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in the Gottman Method and appreciate its clear, no-nonsense focus on strengthening the foundation of your relationship for future growth.
I’ve received 20 hours of specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, and I’m also a certified Bringing Baby Home Educator through The Gottman Institute. This psychoeducational program is designed to help couples navigate the transition to parenthood—offering practical strategies to maintain connection, manage stress, and build a resilient family foundation during one of life’s biggest changes.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I am an out-of-network provider and do not coordinate with insurance. I am able to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance to seek reimbursement.

$190 per 50-minute session.
What is the cost for couples counseling?
$205 per 50-minute session.
$370 per 90-minute session
Where will our sessions be located?
I use a HIPAA compliant platform for virtual telehealth sessions.
Will we be a good fit to work together?
The best way to find out is to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation with me. The relationship between the counselor and client is one of the most important parts of counseling, and a consultation can be helpful to see if it's a good fit.
